In an attempt to make lifestyle changes, I've started taking photos of everything I eat. Enjoy witnessing my piggyness. Scolding is OK but I may punch you in the face if I get defensive. Just kidding. I'm more of a bitchslapper. Got a question or comment? Find me on Twitter.
Time to get serious.
I went to the doctor this week and she told me that I should lose 10 pounds. She wasn’t mean about it, but the fact is that I gradually gain weight and never lose any. She brought up issues like my age (the older I get, the harder it’ll be to lose weight) and the diabetes epidemic.
I’ve been trying to watch what I eat and be active lately, but it’s obviously not enough. I need to kick things up a notch and really stay away from unhealthy food. I don’t know how I’m going to do it. The only time I lost a significant amount of weight EVER is when I wasn’t trying to and temporarily had a different lifestyle (eg, when I was on vacation in Europe).
The action item she gave me was to start off by eating half of what I usually do. Should be easy enough, right? It’s SO not. Help!
